How did your classes differ from those you have taken at CSULB?

What was your housing like and how much did it cost you per month? How easy was it to arrange?

• Private apartment assigned by the school. It was off campus, not far from other students’ apartments; not in one big building—scattered around Florence. What were your experiences with the language? Did you feel you had enough language preparation?

• Lots of people in Florence speak English (or at least some words). It was easy to learn since we had to take an Italian class. I did some Rosetta Stone beforehand to help with pronunciation. Many times I was applauded for my use of Italian in the city. Don’t be afraid to try!
