How did your classes differ from those you have taken at CSULB?
Program Testimonials
The Business classes were of the same level of difficulty as csulb but the teachers are very helpful. Smaller class size. Mix of thai students and international. I had one teacher who was American who was very difficult but the students are very helpful. Make friends and collaboration is key for a good grade! The Thai students are very competitive and serious about their studies. They know that international students aren't as serious as them but they are very kind.

Program Testimonials
•   I mostly took business classes in the BBA program. The classes I took were the first year courses so they were not hard. The class had lectures and had only one mid-term and one final, which were all essay question based.

What was your housing like and how much did it cost you per month? How easy was it to arrange?
Program Testimonials
I lived with my friend that came with me in a 2 person apartment about 30 minute walk from school. 4 minute drive. Rattanakosin Island Condo, very nice place and we loved our own space. Around 300$ a month with bills and all! You can set up living after you arrive, that is what we did because it is a waste of time looking stuff up online. Thailand is not like America in the sense of online promotions and everything.. Its easier to plan to take more time in person and then invest in your best fit.

What was your housing like and how much did it cost you per month? How easy was it to arrange?
Program Testimonials
•   I live in an apartment building call Amaria Mansion. I lived by myself but the top 4 floors of the building was also international students. The staff was friendly and helped us throw parties. I was conservative with the air conditioning, so about $265 a month but other student’s cost went up because they over used the air conditioner. There are many others even cheaper, but the ones mostly used were Amarin Mansion and 3J Court. 3J court was about half the price, but less clean and small but was more convenient.

How much money per week did you spend on food? Transportation? Personal Expenses? Travel?
Program Testimonials
food you can get for ~1$-$5 per meal. Motorbike taxis are nice, around 40baht to get to school. exchange rate was 1$=30 baht. Taxis start at 35 baht and the meter is slow. Great transportation all around thailand but traffic is crazy. The BTS system (sky train) is also popular but can get confusing.
In total you can get by with ~30$ a week but thats not including going out, that can add up.

What were your experiences with the language? Did you feel you had enough language preparation?
Program Testimonials
I was very ignorant to the language when I arrived. I wish I would have studied more Thai language before I left. I now know pretty good thai (after 1 year) and 1 thai beginners class. I would suggest taking the class and trying to engage in the language. The locals appreciate it and its just respectful to learn a language if your living there!

Program Testimonials
•   I always spoke Thai so it wasn’t hard. I did learn to read and write so it was easier. They offer classes there and friends told me it was helpful to get around
