Course: HM 274: International Hospitality Development (GE, catagory D2, global issues) OR FCSE 497: Directed Studies

Approximate Travel Cost: $1,980 + airfare

Tuition: $969

Course Description: This two-week Taiwan study abroad course will explore various aspects of International hospitality foodservice and hotel management. Issues and problems in the hotel and restaurant industry from a global perspective will be experienced and discussed. Additionally, dynamics of human interaction in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural global job market will be experienced and covered. Students will be immersed into a real international learning environment by taking Mandarin classes and field trips.
