About the Universities of Paris

Universities of Paris is an exchange program through Mission Interuniversitaire de Coordination des Échanges Franco-Américains (MICEFA), an academic exchange organization which works with several branches of the University of Paris. Through this organization, you will be matched with one of 16 universities in Paris that best fits your study plan.

MICEFA also arranges field trips and visits to local sites as an introduction to Paris.

Students will enroll in courses for their major and/or minor within regular departments of the University of Paris. Placement in a branch of the University of Paris will be determined by the courses available. In addition, students take at least one French language support course offered by MICEFA or at the Nanterre or St. Denis branches of the university.
