How did your classes differ from those you have taken at CSULB?
Program Testimonials
The classes were very different from those taught at CSULB. The majority of what I took were sociology modules and they generally consisted of only 2 assessments: one midterm paper and one final paper. I didn't have any quizzes, multiple-choice exams, or small assignments. There were generally two 50-minute lectures per week and one 50-minute tutorial, which was 100% discussion based off of the weekly readings. Overall, similar difficulty level courses, just very different.

What was your housing like and how much did it cost you per month? How easy was it to arrange?
Program Testimonials
I stayed in Plassey Village, which is an on-campus housing village (cheapest on-campus option). It was a styled like a house with 8 individual bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a kitchen-living room hybrid room. It was fairly small, but nice enough for the semester. It was $565/month with everything. There was a 7/11 type convenience store 2 minutes away and there was also a nice grocery store a 20-minute walk away.

How much money per week did you spend on food? Transportation? Personal Expenses? Travel?
Program Testimonials
I would average that I spent $40-50 on food per week (only cooked food at home, rarely ate out). Transportation was fairly cheap. I only took the city bus a few times a week, which was 4 euro round trip to the city centre. I traveled a ton, so I spent a good amount on travel. I visited 9 countries other than Ireland during my 5 months abroad.
