China - Beijing City

•   I lived in Dorm #4 on campus with a Lithuanian roommate and it was fortunate she spoke English. We became best of friends. It is dirtier and more backwards than American’s are used to, but I like it just fine.
•   Lived in the foreign student dormitories on the campus. Rooms are smaller than the rooms a CSULB, every room has 2 beds, desks, telephone, T.V, a fridge, wardrobe and bathroom.
•   I lived in the international student dorm. International dorm is really convenient. They change a bedsheet once a week and clean the room every day.
•   Many people live in apartments off campus or in nearby hotels/hostels, but living on campus is cheapest and least time consuming.
•   Rooms at the conference center - $12/day.
•   Off-campus apartments - $438/mth
•   Campus hotels - $232 – 775/mth
•   Students can also live off campus. There are a lot of apartments, but it’s really hard process (usually one year contract, go thru police office process, etc.)
