Program Dates: late-June — early-July, 2020

Course: CRJU 490/690: (In)Famous Forensic Science Investigations: The Amanda Knox and Monster of Florence Case Studies (Open to all majors—no pre-requisites)

Approximate Travel Cost: $3,400.00 + airfare (includes accommodations in shared student apartments in Florence, over-night trip to Perugia, three nights in Rome, guest lectures by local experts, visits to local attractions, and some meals)

Tuition: $945

Insurance: $85

Course Description: This course covers forensic science scandals that occur both nationally and internationally, with specific attention focused on the Amanda Knox case.  In addition, students will have the opportunity to tour an Italian police facility and laboratory as well as the Rome Criminology Museum.
