Seoul is one of those cities where you can discover something new every day and still barely scratch the surface. I remember the moment when I fully appreciated the vastness of the place: I decided to tag along with some friends for a hike up Bukhansan, the most famous (and tallest) mountain of the many surrounding Seoul. After a number of hours climbing through the forest, we passed the tree line and got our first glimpse of Seoul from above. The city stretched for miles in every direction, and all I could do was sit in wonder at this place I'd grown to call "home."
