This was the view from the window of our TEAN apartment. It was during finals, and I think I had an 8am Microbiology exam which, of course, I had literally stayed up all night studying for. By sunrise, I was wiped but so so happy I got to witness this. The sky was actually pink! And you could see the Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and all the other signature features of the Sydney CBD skyline. I had become so familiar with the city and so affectionate towards it, but I had never seen Sydney look so beautiful.
