Program Description:

Live abroad and gain the international internship experience you need to get hired in today's increasingly globalized economy. You have your very own set of talents, experiences, and personality traits that no one else can exactly duplicate, but how do you prove that to employers? An internship is a great opportunity to gain work experience and working in a new environment enhances those professional skills with attributes of adaptability and self-reliance. Global Experiences' programs provide the opportunity for participants to have the overseas adventure they want while simultaneously getting the experience they need.

Global Experiences offers internship programs lasting between 8 and 15 weeks in nearly every career field imaginable. Along with a full-time internship, interns are provided with central accommodation, cultural events and day trips, professional networking events, and on the ground support.

Every detail of our programs is carefully selected based on our 15 years of experience and knowledge of our host locations. An internship should be hands-on, challenging, and eye-opening, right? And living abroad should be exhilarating and fun! We get that. Global Experiences Internship Program in Stockholm:

Living and interning in Stockholm will be a hugely rewarding and memorable experience. With some of the world’s most recognized brands like Ikea, Ericsson, Volvo and more, the innovation and entrepreneurship that abounds in this dynamic country is like no other. Socially speaking, Stockholm is quite progressive and visually focused as a leader in fashion, music, interior design, and architecture.

Stockholm is a culturally rich city serving as the capital of Sweden and as one of the fastest growing cities in Europe. Home of the Nobel Prize, recently named the world’s smartest IT city, and known for its summer festivals and music scene, Stockholm is Europe ingenuity and culture at its finest. Its state-of-the-art Internet speeds, world-renowned transportation system, and environmentally friendly practices ensure an amazing experience for all. And get this: With 90% of Swedish citizens speaking fluent English, Stockholm has become a truly global city!

Furthermore, with a government goal of becoming one of the three most popular event cities in Europe, there will never be a lack of things to do or see. In addition to professional workshops, included in your program is an all-inclusive day trip in Sweden and various networking and cultural events. Some may include a boat tour through the 100+ islands (archipelagos); a sunset safari in the wildness; a historical tour through the 400-year-old canals; and more!
